I am an acupuncturist, specializing in infertility and pain management, who signed up for my first webinar course with Pro D Seminars featuring Leslie Oldershaw, LAc, MSTCM. The seminar was on Lab Testing and Hormonal Assessment for Fertility and Reproductive Health. Leslie not only covered how to analyze female and male fertility lab testing, but outside factors that have a great impact on the endocrine system as a whole. I found the Wellness Panel test informative as it checked Blood, Saliva, Urine, and diagnostic imaging. We also analyzed thyroid, blood sugar, iron, Vitamin D levels and more. All of the aforementioned diagnostic testing greatly helped me to understand the relationship of the body as a whole when treating patients with fertility issues. Leslie also had us go through case studies and identify areas where people where their lab panels showed compromised levels and what corrections needed to be made. Leslie obviously put a lot of time and energy into this course and I learned far more than I anticipated. The Western medical model she presented made it easy for me to integrate her Western based approach with my Eastern based training which will no doubt benefit my patients. We were able to ask questions online during the course and present ideas and products we use to our virtual teacher and classmates, which was very helpful. Very concise, I paused and rewound a lot. So, the length is great. You definitely need more than one listen to get it all. I will be able to apply this professionally in many interactions.
This was my first online course and I was pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to navigate through the course material and the sound quality of the presentation was good. I will definitely be taking more Pro-D courses in the near future!
I am becoming more adept using the prod seminars all of which i find most useful, and a great way to hone in on specialties.
Provided a good frame work for renewing my study of classical formulas
Great class and a very easy format to follow. Living in a state like Michigan which is far away from many classes this is a great format and I will be using it again.
