You may not be aware of this, but by investing in yourself from weekly study you will actually attract more patients to your practice. It is based on the power of intention and the law of attraction. Continuing education has been the key to my success and countless other successful practitioners who enjoy long wait lists. It took me a few years to see the pattern, but after a while it became evident. Allow me to share...

As your knowledge deepens so does your belief and confidence in the medicine. This confidence acts like an amplifier to the intention you put out into the universe/ether. This strong intention acts like a beacon and attracts patients to your practice.

Have you ever noticed how after a TCM course you instantly get a few calls out of nowhere for the condition you just learned to treat? That is the law of attraction at work, and its effectiveness is based on the strength of your intention, which stems from your confidence. And, to build your confidence, you need to believe and belief comes from knowing (knowledge) it will work. This is so simple that it is at risk of being dismissed. So please read this paragraph again. Continuous continuing education has helped me and many other colleagues enjoy long wait lists.

After posting this blog I received this email on January 26, 2014 from Nancy who shared her experience of receiving new pregnancy clients out of no where after taking a few courses on treating women in pregnancy and childbirth.

Dear Pro D Seminars,

I just wanted to give you some feedback. On Sunday, I finished two courses on pregnancy. I had just finished printing out my CEUs when I got a call. ….."I know this is Sunday, but I'm overdue, and any help you might be able to give me would be great."….. Thanks to the course, I was able to say I do not do labor induction, but just labor preparation, and she was fine with that. I addressed emotional issues, and she started pre-labor the following morning. The labor was not effective enough, and she returned a couple of days later for another treatment.

That same week, a second woman called up with a cracked rib from the baby. She was very anxious about the birth, and I was able to calm her down, and put in ear seeds. It became clear to me that the medical community around here (border town) was only giving women with risk pregnancies attention in their final months, and that there is a great need for that. The second woman I saw said she is going to recommend me to two of her pregnant friends.
