If you are using a Candian credit card and/or address then there will be an additional 12% HST added to your registration fee on final check out. This applies only to Canadians. 

We have added a currency converter on the site so you can calculate the approximate charge in your currency.  This is an estimate as credit card companies do set currency exchanges individually. 

And again, all courses  are processed in US Dollars (USD)

No, sorry we do not offer discounts for customers who don't want CEU's. For those who don't want CEU's you can still purchases, watch and enjoy our courses as they are open to anyone.

Any user can change their own password by following these easy steps:

1. Visit "Your User Page"
2. Click the "edit" tab, at the top of the user page
3. Scroll down the page and enter a new password
4. Enter your password a second time to confirm
5. Click the"submit" button at the bottom

Our store uses USD for all its products and courses.

Site visitors can use the currency converter block on the upper left hand side of the site. It helps to estimate conversion of prices. These are not official prices but estimations based on daily bank rates. All of our courses are charged in United States Dollars.

Our store uses an on-site checkout page (you don't need to leave our site to pay). Once you reach the checkout page, in order to protect your credit card numbers, site encryption begins automatically. (You can see that the encryption is working by looking at the address changing from http:// to https://. The "s" stands for secure). Many browsers will also show a lock image somewhere on the browser.

From that point our store uses a PayPal Pro capture method (this is all behind the scenes, so you won't see it). We find this is the most secure way to accept credit card payments on the internet at the moment. You do not need a PayPal account to buy something.

We accept all major credit cards.

If you are a first time Customer
On the checkout page, you will be asked to create a username, password and enter a valid email address. Please do not forget to do this. Your account is linked to your email address. (In the future, you can use either your email address or username to sign in).

If you are a returning Customer
Please make sure to login (sign into your account) before making your purchase. This way your new course(s) will be added to your existing account. Having multiple accounts can make it more difficult to collect CEU's and see your past purchase history. Even if you are buying live seminars, don't forget this step, as sometimes we give away freebies online with different purchases.

You do not need a PayPal account to buy something. You can checkout directly on our site, without leaving ProD. We accept major credit cards for payment.

The answer is on a case by case basis depending in the speaker, venue, our volunteer patients and other factors. Please Contact Us and we will let you know ASAP regarding the seminar you wish to attend. Thank you for your understanding.

Vancouver is a major international city and most major (and many minor) airports from the US fly directly into YVR (Vancouver International Airport). From there is it a 30 - 40 minute taxi ride (or shuttle bus) into the heart of Vancouver. It usually costs around 25 - 30$ Canadian.

Public transportation is also available if you wish to navigate it. (Check the travel wiki link below for more information).

We encourage on-line registration through our website. Often we like to give away online freebies to those who registered online. Also, this allows you to keep track of your order history and get immediate conformation.

However, if you choose not to pay on-line you may send a Canadian money order or bank draft (we do not accept personal cheques) with the addition of $25 to the regular course enrollment fee.

Usually the problem can be solved by following these steps:

3. Make sure your browser is not blocking any pop-ups. If you are not sure how, visit this site for some tips

If you have tried all this and your problem persists, please contact us.

The quiz and feedback form are required by regulatory boards. We use an automated system so certificates are generated only after passing (70%) and filling out feedback form. If you do not need CEU/PDA's or care for a certificate and just want the knowledge then can skip the quiz. This way you can get your certificates and CEU/PDA's more promptly.

We implemented the 120 day access rule in January 2008 for the following reasons.

1. Online does not differ much from a live seminar. At the end of a live weekend seminar you leave with your handouts and the notes you made. You do not continue to have direct access to the presenter.   At the end of the 120 day online seminar access period, you will lose access to the lecturer's presentation. However, you will leave with the handouts you downloaded and the notes you made over the 120 days. Many enjoy online as they learn best from repetition and being able to watch and listen several times over 120 days allows you to go deeper into the material when compared to hearing it once at live seminar.

2. Some CEU approvals are  good from anywheer between 1-2 years and then it expires unless we renew it for another 1- 2 years. Some courses we do not renew because they become out dated or  no longer meet the standard to be on Pro D Seminars. This is the main reason for implementing the 120 access rule at Pro D. We  had some very disappointed registrants who finally wanted to take their their quiz after more than  2 years after ordering their course only  to find out the course is no longer approved by Pro D for CEU's.  Pro D stops selling courses we do not attend to renew a minimum of 4 months before the CEU approval expires to make sure everyone who has ordered it has at least 120 days to complete it.

3. The majority of people did not actually look at the course before we added an expiration date. We know because they did not send in quizzes for CEU's. Once we added an expiration date the majority did complete their course. So with no expiration only about 15% actually completed the courses and now with the 120 day rule over 80% complete them for CEU's and certificates. We are very proud of our on line courses and want word of mouth to help spread the good word. It is in both our best interest to add a deadline and have you take the course so you can benefit  through learning and earning CEU's from your purchase.

4. Allowing 120 days is reasonable plus it will keep your from procrastinating.  I want you to be successful and I know success is not attracted to procrastinators. Only order your courses once you have made a plan what days and how many hours a week you plan to study the material.  It is no value to you or Pro D if it "sits on your shelf".

Nothing beats live in class. Especially being able to ask questions and meeting and reconnecting with like minded practitioners and friends. We hope that our on line course allows people who missed the live in class still an opportunity as well as those who choose to not incur the cost and time to travel.

We cannot give you the answers to the quiz as it is an assessment tool required by the regulatory bodies to prevent people from "buying CEU's" on line.  So we are not allowed to have the answers displayed post quiz. Although they are a great study tool, their purpose is for proving CEU's.

We advertise very heavy compared to the TCM profession.  4-5 different journals/newsletter print ads and lots of web advertising. We therefore have high standards for our lecturers and courses.

To be part of our on line library you need to have at least 20 years experience or be published in the area you want to teach

Live courses are individually assessed but similar to on line for qualifications to teach for Pro D.

Webinar (live streams). These are less restricted, however we still need to be sold on the idea of making your course and putting in the time, money and effort any successful course requires.

We are often asked, "How much money can I make?" It depends on you and the topic.  We have many courses that make money and many that do not make money.

We represent teachers that are passionate about the materiel and feel the need to share. (Education rarely is equal to good money).  Our job is to try to find the talent and then promote it. Our primary goal is good education for TCM, not money.

The course is both video and and audio.  If you watch all of the previews it will give you a good idea of how we offer it on line.  Some slides have audio, some have video in the main slide and some with video in upper left corner.  The palpation technique is very straightforward and we include slides with diagrams. As in person, it is not easy to see adominal palpation skills. However, we did capture what we could on video and slides were created to help the learning process.

If you can make time, watch the 3 free previews on the course registration page.  Plus there are lots and lost of free clinical pearls (pod cast, video and articles) on the course page you can view to help you decide if you see enough value in taking the course.  It will really take your herb and formula knowledge to a new level and more importantly, apply it clinically.

All ProD courses come with PDF format slides.

Once the course is open and playing (paused), click on the right upper hand corner of your player called "attachments".  There will be a link to print slides.  Click the slides you wish to open. Depending on your computer and browers either they will open or ask you to download them. All of our slides are in PDF format and may be printed.

If this does not work, then your computer is likely blocking the slides/notes popup window.  Pro D Seminars cannot do anything on our end.  It is related to your computer security.  Please choose to allow popups. (This may be part of your firewall, anti-virus or browser settings depending your system).

<b>For the MAC issues</b> on printing slides from your website. The user needs to click on "SAFARI" on the top left menu drop down, and then uncheck "Block Pop-Up Windows". Then Click on "Print Slides". The PDF should pop up at that point.

Once you have paid for your selected course, the amount of time left to finish can be found under "My Account" on the left hand menu bar, then scrolling down and looking for the link "Course Access Expiration".

Each online course or recorded webinar has 4 months of access starting the day of purchase.

If you are having problems starting courses, please check the following first:

1. Do you have the latest version of flash installed? This is nessesary to play online seminars. You can download the latest version for free from adobe macromedia.

2. Is your browser blocking pop-ups? Our course is in a pop-up window so that you can maximize the amount of screen you are using. Please follow these instructions to allow popups.

3. If you are still having problems, please contact us via our "Contact Form". We will respond as quickly as possible to help you resolve your issue.

Once you have paid for your course, and logged in, your course will be available at "My Account" on the left hand menu bar. Alternatively, you can see your courses in the "Current Courses" block in a list, also on the left hand side of any page.

To log in, use your email address or the username along with the password you selected during the checkout process. You will also receive an email reminding you of your new course.

You will have access to your online course for 4 months from the purchase date. Each course comes along with notes/slides to be printed if you wish. (They are accessible from inside the course itself for online courses, or on the course launch page for recorded webinars).

Don't forget to finish your quiz and course evaluation before the end of the 4 month period in order to reveive your cerficate online and your CEU/PDA's.
