Interpreting and Utilizing Diagnostic Information for Gynecology and Obstetrics
Diagnosis is a key link between patient and treatment in any tradition of medicine. While a clear diagnosis leads directly to a focused effective treatment, a murky diagnosis will result in less than satisfactory results. This seminar will focus on the key diagnostic points and the resulting treatment strategies, summarized from Sharon Weizenbaum's 25 plus years of clinical experience, that make the difference in the quality of your results when working with fertility and pregnancy issues.

Why We Should Change the Course of Acupuncture Research
This course explores the subject of applying modern research methodology to TCM. It explains how research methods to determine how a therapy works are not the same as those which determine if a therapy even works at all, and in fact can produce inconclusive data if used improperly. The limitations of using sham treatments as a control group is addressed, as is the relevance of any psychological aspects involved in an acupuncture treatment.

Biology of Reproduction
In the 21st Century, patients require their practitioners of Chinese medicine to be versed in TCM and also have expertise in understanding fertility presentations from the Western model. Patients benefit from an integrated approach and many want acupuncture along with their IVF procedure. This course will help you learn how to communicate with your local Reproductive Endocrinologist and hopefully receive referrals.
